Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta released Joseph Stalin on bail in CRM (SB) 17 of 2025 vide Order dated 24.09.2025 as having fulfilled the Twin Conditions under Section 45 of PMLA, in a case initiated under PMLA by Directorate of Enforcement in ECIR dated 21st February 2024 based on the Scheduled Offence in FIR against an online gaming App Fiewin. Hon’ble High Court of Calcutta released Joseph Stalin on bail upholding his rights under Article 21 of the Constitution of India.

Joseph Stalin, who initially owned Studio 21 Technologies Private Limited but later transferred to one Pei Pengyun and later started Ishapps Technologies Private Limited in 2021 for crypto currency trading in Binance trading platform in alliance with Pei Pengyun, ended up in the ED case under PMLA by a complaint filed by Shekhar Pal having lost money in Gaming App Fiewin. Observing that Joseph Stalin fulfilled the Twin Conditions of Section 45 of PMLA, Hon’ble High Court of Calcutta released him on bail in honour of the Article 21 of the Constitution of India.
